It's hard to believe Pine Cove City wraps up today. What a gift this week has been. We've watched kids laugh, learn, build friendships, hear the gospel, and even more importantly, we've seen several of them place their faith in Jesus. There is no greater reason to celebrate than that.
As Pine Cove packs up and heads to their next church, let's continue praying for these counselors, that the Lord would strengthen them, protect them, and continue using them in powerful ways. And a huge thanks to Katie, Danielle, our host families, and everyone who helped make this week possible. Your support and hospitality played a part in every gospel conversation and every life impacted.
And as one exciting week ends, another is quickly approaching. Vacation Bible School is just around the corner, and we're praying God will continue to do what only He can do in the lives of kids and families across our community.
Maybe that's one of the easiest things to forget in the Christian life. We know God can do great things. We know God keeps His promises. We know the right answers. But when life gets difficult, prayers seem delayed, or circumstances feel impossible, we often drift back into trusting ourselves more than we trust Him.
This Sunday we'll be in Romans 4:13-25 as we continue our Unashamed series. Abraham's story isn't ultimately about extraordinary faith. It's about an extraordinarily faithful God. Paul reminds us that righteousness is received by faith, not achieved through effort, and that the strength of our faith is not what saves, sanctifies, or sustains us. The faithfulness of our God is.
So here's a question worth carrying into Sunday... when God's promises feel delayed, where does your heart run for security, comfort, and hope?
Let's come ready to worship, to look again at the God who keeps His promises, and to rest in the grace we could never earn.

Caring Center Open House
June 10
One of the beautiful ways our church family helps care for people in our community is through the ministry of the Caring Center, and we’re excited to celebrate the completion of the renovated facility together.
Join us on Wednesday, June 10, for a special Caring Center Open House. Walk-through tours of the renovated building will begin at 6pm, followed by a brief celebration service at 7pm as we thank God for His faithfulness and pray over the continued ministry that will take place there in the days ahead. Overflow parking will be available at the Fairgrounds, and shuttle service will be provided.
We’d love for you to come celebrate this meaningful moment with us.
Deacon Nominations
June 7 & 14
We will receive deacon nominations during the first two weeks of June. Please prayerfully consider those who reflect the biblical qualifications for this role. The list of men who meet the minimum requirements to be nominated will be available this week.
