THE CARING CENTER IS THE “across THE STREET” MISSION ARM OF NORTHBROOK BAPTIST CHURCH.

WE BELIEVE OUR CALL IS TO serve THose Facing challenges in CULLMAN AND CULLMAN COUNTY.

We believe in doing ministry the way our Savior taught by showing compassion to people in need.  In doing so, we are building relationships with the families we serve, being an example in both deed and word, and living out ministry in a very personal way.

Many people believe that because we live in a “religiously saturated” community they do not need a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. The goal of the Caring Center is to share the love and compassion of Jesus Christ with everyone, including the cold and hungry, young and old, sick and disabled, and discouraged and disengaged. We want to help those experiencing hardship discover God’s design for them and the joy of “dwelling in the presence of God”.

OPERATIONS

The Caring Center is located at 1629 2nd Ave, NW, just off Highway 31 N in Cullman, centrally located to be the hub for the Caring Center Ministries. This location is the home of our weekly operations, where we can serve and minister to those in need of assistance in a one-on-one environment.

The Caring Center can assist in two main ways: weekly operations and special events. We are open weekly on Tuesdays, from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM, and Thursdays, from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM. During this time, we are able to assist with food assistance and hygiene items. (once every 30 days)  We also have special events from time to time. Please watch this page for more information.

On your first visit please bring a picture ID and be ready to complete an application that will include the name and age of each person in the household as well as the income and expenses of each person in the household.

If you are in need of assistance that the Caring Center can provide, please let us know here.

BETTER TOGETHER

The Caring Center offers a variety of ways to serve. From working with individuals and families directly to sharing your faith, or meeting physical needs. This is what we call “relational evangelism.” When we apply God’s truth to our lives, Jesus will make us new, not just better. If you have a heart for those in need, the Caring Center may be where God would have you be involved.
