SUNDAY LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups are an invaluable platform for students to deepen their understanding of the Bible and nurture their spiritual growth. It is an enriching and transformative experience that empowers students to deepen their relationship with God and navigate the complexities of the modern world with wisdom and discernment. These groups meet every Sunday morning in the Life House at 9:00 AM.

WEDNESDAY WORSHIP

5:00 PM Dinner served
6:30 PM Activities and Classes for all ages

Northbrook’s student ministry is a dynamic community within our church. It serves as a place young people can seek guidance, support, and a sense of belonging. Led by dedicated and passionate leaders, the youth ministry offers a variety of programs and activities designed to nurture the spiritual growth of teenagers. Our students gather on Wednesday nights for a time of worship tailored with them in mind. The student Life Band leads us in a time of worship through song followed by a time of Bible study which helps us relate God’s word to our daily lives. The Life House is a great place to hang out before and after worship. From weekly gatherings filled with engaging discussions and thought-provoking lessons to fun-filled retreats and service projects, our student ministry strives to create an environment where young individuals can explore their faith, deepen their relationship with God, and learn how they can become a Kingdom Investor.

The café opens at 5:00 PM for pizza and snacks, and we also have basketball, pool, ping pong, and video games. Worship begins at 6:30 PM and we finish by 7:30 PM.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Throughout the year, we set aside time for special events like conferences, camps, retreats, mission trips, and service projects. We believe these events help us develop relationships with each other and with God. You can register for events with this link.

NEXT GEN

College & Career MINISTRY

Northbrook’s Next Gen ministry plays a crucial role in supporting and guiding young adults (ages 18-29) during their transformative years on campus. It serves as a community where students can explore their faith, develop deep friendships, and engage in meaningful discussions. Through regular worship gatherings like Selah, life groups, and service opportunities, the Next Gen ministry fosters spiritual growth and empowers students to live out their beliefs in a relevant and impactful way. It offers a safe space for students to wrestle with tough questions, seek guidance, and find encouragement amidst the challenges of adult life. With its unwavering commitment to nurturing the holistic development of these young minds, the church college ministry becomes a force that shapes their character, equips them for future leadership, and instills an enduring faith foundation.

The Next Gen Life Group meets every Sunday morning at 9:00 am.

SELAH

Worship | Word | Community | Mobilization

Selah is a monthly worship gathering designed to provide a space local college students and young adults can come and grow in their faith. Selah provides thought-provoking Bible studies, worship nights filled with uplifting music and prayer, and regular gatherings where students can connect with like-minded peers. Emphasizing the importance of mobility, Selah also organizes mission trips, volunteer initiatives, and community-building events to inspire students to share the Gospel on campus or at work.

Selah is our college ministry that partners with several local churches. Selah meets the first Sunday of the month, with dinner starting at 5:00 pm and worship starting at 6:00 pm.
