Northbrook Student Ministry’s mission is to glorify God by making disciples of every student in our community. We seek to manifest God’s kingdom by Loving Jesus, Leading Well and Living the Gospel. We are confident that we can accomplish this through the power of Christ.
We will accomplish our vision by engaging students in a fourfold discipleship pathway.
Know God through worship and teaching.
Find Community in weekly Sunday Small Group gatherings.
Make Disciples in yearly D-Groups of 3-5 people.
Change the World through missions, evangelism and volunteering.
SUNDAY SMALL GROUPS
We meet in small groups to study God’s Word, pray for one another, and hang out. These groups meet on Sunday mornings in the Life House at 9:00 AM. For more information about our small groups, contact Stape Patterson.
Our students gather on Wednesday nights for a time of worship tailored with them in mind. The student Life Band leads us in a time of worship through song before Stape helps us relate God’s word to our daily lives. The Life House is a great place to hang out before and after worship. The café opens at 5:00 PM for pizza and snacks, and we also have basketball, pool, ping pong, and video games. Worship begins at 6:00 PM and we finish by 7:15 PM.
Throughout the year, we set aside time for special events like DNOW weekend, camps, mission trips, and service projects. We believe these events help us develop relationships with each other and with God.
