Get Ready for Sunday: Eternity Is Calling

This Week at Northbrook: August 29, 2025

Alarms are meant to wake us up. They remind us something urgent is happening that can’t be ignored. So here’s the question, if eternity really is at stake, what is it going to take for you to start living like it?

This Sunday, we’ll wrap up our Threads series in 2 Corinthians 5:16-21, where Paul shows us how eternity changes everything about how we see ourselves and others. In Christ, we are made new, reconciled to God, and sent out as his ambassadors. Eternity isn’t a distant thought, but it's God’s call to live with urgency right now, pleading with others to be reconciled to him.

Here’s something to reflect on this week, who in your life needs to hear God’s appeal through you before it’s too late?

Let’s gather ready to be awakened, renewed, and sent out with the hope of the gospel.

We’re excited to see you Sunday!

PS: Share your feedback by completing the Campaign Readiness Survey. If you already took the survey—thank you! You do not need to take it again. But if you missed it, we’d love for you to participate today. It takes just 10 minutes and will give us helpful insight as we move forward wisely and prayerfully together. The survey closes today. Click the link below to take the survey now:

Introducing the Bridge: a new ministry for young adults

Kickoff Gathering | Sunday, Aug. 31 from 6-8pm. | 214 4th St. SW, Cullman

The Bridge is a space for 18-35-year-olds in all life stages to connect where they are with where God is leading them. These years are a crucial season for shaping identity, building community, and forming a lasting faith.

Many young adults drift from the church after high school—we want to be a bridge, not a gap, in that journey. Our heartbeat is to create a Christ-centered community where young adults build authentic relationships, grow spiritually, and navigate life’s transitions, from graduation to career to calling, while staying rooted in the Body of Christ.
