What if adversity in your life wasn’t a sign that something’s gone wrong—but that you’re exactly where God wants you? Sit with that for a second. How does that land in your heart today?

This Sunday, Elder Chris Borden will walk us through 1 Peter 4:12–19, where Peter reminds us that suffering for Christ is not strange—it’s sacred. When hardship comes because of our faith, we don’t retreat—we rejoice, because the Spirit of God rests on us. We trust our faithful Creator, and we keep doing good.

Take a moment this week to reflect on this: Am I fully surrendered to God’s will—even when it’s hard?

Let’s gather this Sunday ready to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded: He is worth it.

Senior Adult Revival | May 12-14

Join us at Northbrook for our Senior Adult Revival, May 12-14. Refreshments at 10am and Worship at 10:30am each day. The revival will be led by Dr. Joe McKeever, and Chuck Johnston, worship pastor at Cullman FBC. We hope to see you there.

Graduate Recognition and Commissioning | May 18

Graduation is a huge milestone! Let’s celebrate our seniors and pray over their next steps. We have a brief recognition moment during our 10:30am worship service for the graduates as well as a luncheon and commissioning following the service in the Atrium. Parents, sign up your graduate by May 12.

Elder Council Update

Steven Alldredge has been nominated by the Elder Council to serve again as Elder. The congregation will vote on May 4 to confirm him as Elder. Please join us in praying for Steven and the entire Elder Council as they continue to lead and shepherd our church.
