OUR BYLAWS:

The Bylaws Revision Committee unanimously recommends a transition to what we believe is a more biblically accurate and more practically effective form of church governance – a plurality of male elders who lead, teach, and shepherd the church body, along with ministerial staff and other leaders and volunteers who serve on the Deacon Council and Committees. On Sunday, January 29, immediately following the morning worship service, members of Northbrook will have an opportunity to vote on the revised Bylaws. Below, you will find downloadable PDF files of the final revised Bylaws and an overview of the recommendations. You can also watch the archived videos of the Family Gathering meetings, where these recommended revisions were discussed. We encourage you to be praying with us and to review these resources, then come ready to vote on Jan. 29.
