How can I serve?
As students connect with Jesus Christ and begin to grow in their Christian faith, The Students at Northbrook ministry wants to lead students to a total commitment of their life to their God ordained place of service. Because we have this as our purpose we offer numerous programs and activities to help students do just that. We are very committed to missions. We offer opportunities for foreign, national and local mission experiences. We also provide opportunites for students to use their gifts in the local church. Listed below are some of the opportunities that students have to get involved in the ministry of the church.
LIFE Band - An audition group that leads worship for LIFE, a youth worship service held on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Contact Wayne Cook for more information.
Interpretative Movement - A group of students using sign and dance to lead our church in a creative form of worship. They are led by Ashley Nuss. They meet at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.
Tech Crew - Students are allowed to handle the techincal ministry of LIFE student worship and other special events. Students who are good with computers or sound are encouraged to polish their skills. To find out more about this ministry contact Wayne Cook.

Mission Teams - The Students at Northbrook will plan one national mission trip for grades 7 - 12 in 2007. Training and preparation work is required. Students must sign up for the trip in January and earn points through involvement in local mission to go. Check out the communications page to find out about this summer's opportunites.
Caring Center - There are always opportunites for students to serve at the Northbrook Caring Center. This ministry provides food, clothing and counseling to people who have these needs in the community.
