If you are a student (7th grade through college), then Northbrook is a great place for you! We have multiple opportunites for you to get plugged in! Northbrook's Student Ministry has 2 main goals: 1. To introduce the love and lifestyle of Jesus Christ to others. 2. To make disciples who are equipped to go and make disciples themselves. These goals are accomplished through building long-term, meaningful relationships with students.
On Wednesday nights we have our student hang-out and worship time that we call SURGE. Students start showing up around 5:00 to eat, hang-out, and play pool, basketball, ping-pong, shuffleboard, xbox, etc. At approximately 6:00, our worship time starts. We usually play a game and then our LIVE student band leads us in worship. After that I will talk about various topics and scripture that apply to the events and struggles that teenagers face on a daily basis with the goal of giving them hope, guidance, and a word of encouragment from God's Word.
